CBS Remembers 60th Anniversary of Eye Logo design

NY - The CBS network is honoring the 60th anniversary of their Eye logo design on Thursday, with parent company CBS Corp. saying Wednesday that it'll be commemorating the anniversary on-air, on CBS.com and CBSNews.com. The logo design, first introduced throughout the network's station breaks on March. 20, 1951, has transformed through the years, but continued to be the organization's phone card. "In the network towards the corporation, the CBS Eye is definitely an long lasting resource in our company along with a major supply of pride for people,Inch stated CBS Corp. leader and Boss Leslie Moonves. "It's a corporate logo design that's known and respected all across the globe and remains an appropriate symbol of CBS' proud background and ongoing leadership." On Thursday, CBS.com and CBSNews.com will replace its homepage's current CBS Eye using the original Eye logo design. Customers can observe photo essays from the Eye logos through the decades. The network also stated it would start the Thursday primetime schedule by having an on-air place featuring the different CBS Eye logos through the years. Plus, a network ID featuring the initial CBS Eye and also the date it had been established is going to be proven towards the top of each one of the following two hrs of primetime programming.
